NSW Health identified the need to improve patient outcomes and experiences for the delivery of wound care in NSW and in September 2019 it published a set of clinical standards for wound management, culminating from a collaborative project of diverse stakeholders and health clinicians.
Nexus developed a monitoring and evaluation plan to capture information on whether the new standards are being implemented and whether they are achieving the desired outcomes.
