The work:
The Public Sector Management Program (PSMP) is a graduate program administered by the Queensland University of Technology (QUT) for middle managers across the three levels of government. The program aims to build the skills of the next generation of public sector leaders across Australia.
Given his extensive experience working in and consulting to the public sector, Greg Masters was engaged by QUT as a lecturer in the PSMP since 2016 and he delivers two units:
- Managing within the Context of Government: this unit provides the ‘big picture’ of government and the context in which public sector managers operate.
- Managing Outwards in a Networked Government: this unit explores a variety of relationships that managers need to build across and outside the public sector.
Greg has been delivering the PSMP in its various forms since about 2000.
