The work:
Nexus led a major redesign of service models for primary mental health care services in the Hunter New England Central Coast (HNECC) Primary Health Network. The Nexus team comprised of academic experts in primary health care, as well as experienced mental health practitioners and managers.
The project recommendations were endorsed by the HNECC Primary Health Network which is implementing the new service models, including a centralised intake and referral service to improve care coordination.
