Client: Family Planning NSW
The work:
Family Planning NSW is the state’s leading provider of reproductive and sexual health services. It is an independent, not-for-profit organisation that receives funding from a variety of sources, including federal and NSW governments and generates revenue from some of its services and donations.
To secure funding and to set out its strategic directions, FPNSW is required to develop a strategic plan and Nexus was engaged to coordinate the development of a new plan for 2019-2024. The planning process involved extensive and sensitive consultation with a diversity of stakeholders, including FPNSW staff and clients, service partners and funding organisations.
The resulting strategic plan, which identified potential new areas of service development, was endorsed by the Board of Family Planning NSW.
Nexus has conducted numerous similar assignments for a wide variety of community sector and government organisations.
