Policy and Program Development

Nexus undertakes major policy and program reviews to determine if desired results are being achieved – and to identify opportunities for program and service redesign.

Our ‘diagnostic phase’ typically commences with literature reviews to identify the evidence-base and we map national and international practice in identifying future service delivery models and options.

These options are rigorously reality tested with expert stakeholders and, critically, clients and consumers who are actively engaged in a service and program co-design process.

We place special emphasis on developing implementation strategies that facilitate the transition of the new approaches into reality.

Our range of policy and program development work is comprehensive:

  • we lead reviews of legislation
  • we develop new models of care for health services
  • we assist with the adoption of risk-based regulatory models
  • we align business processes and systems with new approaches to service delivery.
