Nexus has extensive experience in the design, facilitation and reporting of corporate and strategic planning processes for a wide variety of government and non-government organisations. We adopt a jargon-free, common sense approach to planning with an emphasis on providing plain English documents that lend themselves to being translated into action.


NSW government agencies

We have facilitated scores of planning workshops across most of the NSW government clusters including the Department of Premier and Cabinet, NSW Treasury, NSW Health, Department of Education, Department of Family and Community Services, Department of Justice, Department of Industry, Department of Finance, Services and Innovation and the Department of Transport.


Ministerial Taskforces

Assisting in the identification of priorities and development of work plans for a number of NSW Health advisory bodies, including the Physician’s taskforce and the Acute Care Taskforce, appointed by the Minister for Health.

Non-government Organisations

We have designed, facilitated and reported on strategic planning workshops for a wide range of non-government agencies at the board and executive level. Some recent clients include Family Planning NSW, Royal Australian College of Physicians, ACON, Hepatitis NSW and disability service providers. We specialise in aligning the planning and reporting systems of NGOs to meet the requirements of funding agencies.


Liverpool Hospital: Strategic Planning

As the largest hospital in south-western Sydney, Liverpool Hospital is confronted with a number of significant challenges: large population growth, significant health disadvantages and the rising costs of providing healthcare. Nexus worked with the hospital’s executive team in developing a five-year plan to prepare for these challenges.
