Client: HNECC PHN
HNECC aims to provide better access to primary health care by identifying and addressing service gaps, paying particular attention to those patients and communities with specific needs, including Indigenous communities and people living in rural and remote areas of the region.
Nexus was engaged by the HNECC PHN to identify and test options for addressing the service gaps in the delivery of after-hours GP services. The project involved a series of structured interviews with GPs and consultations with community representatives, service providers and other key stakeholders to identify the barriers to after-hours services and possible service delivery solutions.
