Client: NSW Health
In August 2017, NSW Health released a Genomics Strategy to ensure the potential benefits of genomics are effectively and efficiently incorporated into the health sector, ultimately yielding the intended patient health outcomes. NSW Health has moved to the second stage of implementation of the strategy and has engaged Nexus to develop a plan to monitor progress in rolling out the various elements of the strategy and improving access to genomics services across NSW.
The plan is being informed by the outputs of a workshop with eminent clinicians across NSW who are defining what successful implementation entails and identifying what data will be required to measure progress.
