The Board of a prominent barristers’ chamber recently initiated a strategic planning process to consider where the chamber wants to be in the future, and the key issues it needs to address in getting there. The chamber commissioned Nexus to facilitate this process, which involved individual interviews with all barristers and staff members, followed by a half-day workshop to discuss the issues raised further.
This process enabled members of the chamber to determine where they want the floor to be positioned in the future and identify the barriers to their strategic vision. The final report presented specific recommendations around marketing, governance arrangements and culture to build a more competitive, modern chamber.
